  • Experience and skill in the development and implementation of detailed departmental budgets, capital expenditure plans, and preventive maintenance strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term operational goals and cost efficiency.
  • Proven track record in developing a structured team-building strategy that prioritizes employee growth, succession planning, and performance management while meeting operational demands with a focus on productivity and morale.
  • Lead the Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, and Marine teams to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Lead and take primary accountability for Property Maintenance Services, including homeowner liaison, daily supervision, preventive and reactive maintenance for all contracted residences.

  • Demonstrated success by developing technical leaders and succession plans.
  • Strong commercial ownership: budgeting, cost‑savings, procurement and labour optimization.
  • CMMS leadership with KPI delivery (PM completion, MTTR, backlog reduction).
  • Practical technical judgment across island/remote systems to assess risk and contractor work.
  • Track record delivering maintenance projects to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Effective stakeholder and crisis leader with a solid H&S/compliance record.

  • Experience collaborating with procurement, finance and external vendors on contracts, vendor management and project delivery.
  • Technical diploma/degree in engineering or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with Antigua & Barbuda laws and regulations a plus.
