To support the finance team with daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with reporting and compliance activities within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Generate and dispatch via email Daily Sales Report and Cashflow Report.
• Complete Rejects report by Supermarket and Route.
• Journalising spares, stationery, insurance premiums. 
• Updating new products and change prices in system. 
• Reconcile and journalize garage expenditure. 
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers and colleagues regarding billing, payments and other accounting related
   matters. 
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger schedules.
• Support with preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
• Update and dispatch sales report. 
• Reconcile Month End Stock reconciliation and journalizing entries
   stock records with accounting system.
• Assist in stock counts, variance analysis, and cost of goods reporting.
• Monitor production, wastage, and logistics-related cost allocations.
• Assist with trouble shooting with salesmen query or processing errors
• Ensure VAT and other taxes are compiled and filed on time.
• Maintain financial documentation in accordance with audit and compliance standards.
• Support internal and external audit queries.
• Filing all related documents.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, Pastel, ERP systems).
• Understanding of FMCG operations, costing, and stock processes is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in Accounting / Finance or studying towards a recognized accounting qualification.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting role (FMCG experience preferred).
• Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
