Accurately manage monthly, the accounting, tracking, journal entries, reconciliations, documentation, and reporting of the company’s general ledger accounts, such as loans, investments, other receivables, prepayments, accruals, other payables, etc., in accordance with applicable accounting standards and the Group’s policies. This includes identifying discrepancies, resolving issues, and recording adjustments relating to general ledger transactions.
Accurately analyze monthly, quarterly, and at year-end prior year/current year/month comparatives, prepare analytical reports/analyses, and provide commentary based on the income statement and balance sheet movements.
Maintain and update accounting records with supporting documents, analyze, and file to ensure proper documentation for internal and external audits. Provide additional support during internal and external audits, respond to inquiries, and upload requests via the auditor’s portal/system.
Assist in the preparation and management of monthly and quarterly financial reporting accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and the Group’s policies. Reports must accurately reflect the company’s financial position.
Prepare and maintain the trial balances. Ensure that all financial data is recorded correctly and in accordance with applicable accounting principles, standards, and the Group’s policies. This includes ensuring that all journals are posted before closing the General Ledger, Intercompany GL accounts agree to the analysis, uploading the trial balances as per timelines outlined by Group Reporting, and ensuring FTQ is achieved.
Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance relating to the General Ledger and Taxation.
Prepares audit working papers and supporting schedules for Group audits
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
CAT/FIA Accounting Technician
Level 2 ACCA
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree, SAGE 50, Microsoft Excel) and basic accounting principles.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of payroll and tax regulations is a plus.
Team player with eagerness to learn and develop into a Junior Group Accountant role

Proactive and solution-oriented with a can-do attitude
