Responsible for the operational protection and security of the Warehouse Building, safeguarding of company property and assets and assurance of personnel and members safety and security.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and implement security measurements to help reduce risk of loss of assets. 
  • Control losses of merchandize due to damage or theft by employees, members or visitors and conducts investigations as applicable.
  • Familiarizes with all Security Systems and installations, i.e. CCTV, Alarm System, etc. assuring that all equipment is in perfect operational order.
  • Identifies job risks that are possible hazards for accidents.
  • Compliance with the provisions of the Manual of Security and Risk Prevention.
  • Conduct safety and prevention seminars to all staff, especially for security staff.
  • Conducts regular safety inspections and monitors all areas, particularly in the selling area.
  • Ensure the successful placement of fire extinguishers.
  • Generates and reviews reports as required for the department.
  • Analyzes work methods and distribution to eliminate idle time and maximize employee’s productivity and ensure appropriate levels of staffing.
  • Keep informed of legislation that regulates illegal acts that could be occurring in the Club.
  • Maintain communication with the local police for criminal activities that may affect the Club in order to prevent or report misconducts. Monitor all the routes of escape, exit emergency signs or other   security prevention measures are properly identified.
  • Oversees compliance with procedures in the opening and closing of the Club.
  • Monitors employees’ performance, and reviews training needs as required.
  • Prevent damage or loss of merchandise in order to maintain adequate inventories, both physical and in the system.
  • Produce reports of potential risks identified during the floor walks and submits to the Club Manager, and Risk Prevention Management. Support the practices of the emergency management plans and/or drills.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum two (2) years of university-based studies in Business Administration or similar areas.  Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate teamwork and provide leadership.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and AS400.
  • Proficient in English and/or languages (verbal and written).
