Asset Protection Clerk (Direct to Client)

Safeguarding of company properties, facilities and other assets as well as employees and members safety and security by executing preventative measurements to reduce risk of losses.

Responsibilties:

• Develop management and control procedures by having surveillance and detention guidelines to prevent casualties, destroying of company properties and facilities and by protecting its internal surroundings and perimeter to create a safe environment.
• Performs audit regarding departmental daily activity on shrinkages control.
• Control and understanding of all the security systems and installations (i.e., CCTV, alarm systems, etc.) and assure equipment is functional and operational.
• Supervise, analyze and monitor potential risks at the Club.
• Investigate and detain members or employees that have committed a felony inside the Club and prepare corresponding reports of all detentions.
• Accomplish accurate clear and complete summary reports. Coordinates with local law enforcement agencies in security matters.
• Promote and ensure that all security guidelines for the opening and closing of the Club are being followed.
• Monitors contracted security personnel.
• Oversees that Fire Exits are locked during opening and free from obstructions.
• Performs floor-walk functions.
• Physical inspection of Fire Extinguishers and physical inventory of company property.
• Supports emergency preparedness drills (e.g. Fire Drills,Bomb Threat Drill, Natural Disaster Drills, etc)
• Supports ongoing training with staff in the warehouse on security matters.
• Verifies that entry and exit door procedures are followed.
