The Area Manager will serve as a key liaison between the company and franchisees focusing on operational excellence and strategic development.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
- Implement tailored B2B sales and marketing strategies for Ansa Coatings Ltd., targeting sales volumes in line with sustainability and GP% goals.
Leadership & Strategic Growth
- Continuously seek growth opportunities by setting expectations aligned with the sector’s vision and mission.
- Review existing processes regularly to ensure functionality, control, and alignment with growth objectives.
Franchise Management
- Ensure all Franchisee contracts are managed according to their terms and conditions.
- Conduct monthly meetings with each Franchisee to address evolving needs and strengthen relationships.
Sales Performance & Tracking
- Set and drive achievement of customer targets, report monthly, and implement initiatives to close performance gaps.
- Analyze trends to boost commercial performance.
Marketing & Customer Experience
- Lead trade marketing initiatives, collaborating with the Marketing Manager to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Improve Customer Experience by addressing pain points and ensuring superior service.
Ensure all customer complaints are logged within 24–48 hours and follow up to ensure customer acceptance within 5 business days.
Customer Retention and Enhancement:
- Track and enhance customer retention through value-added solutions and Joint Business Plans.
Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure efficient route management and adherence to activities for customer visits.
Sell-in and Sell-out Activities:
- Manage sell-in and sell-out activities, aligning inventory levels with demand and sales objectives.
- Support in the forecasting process with Demand & Supply Chain team.
Management of Open Orders:
- Oversee open order management to ensure timely fulfilment and address any arising issues.
Operational Excellence:
- PICOS Implementation: Ensure high standards of product presentation and availability through the Picture of Success (PICOS) program.
Monthly Price Compliance:
- Monitor pricing ensuring compliance with SRP’s to maintain competitiveness and profitability; recommending adjustments if necessary based on market conditions.
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Manage accounts receivable days to ensure timely payment collection and minimize overdue accounts. >80% of customers under 60 days.

Conduct any other related duties that may be assigned by the Sales & Strategy Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or marketing will be an asset
- At least five (5) years’ sales and/or marketing experience
- Experience with Planning and Budgetary Control.
- 5 years of Sales, Customer Service and Marketing Experience.
- Proven Track Record of performance.
- Business Planning Leadership Experience, leading multiple teams across various sales channels
