POSITION SUMMARYThis is primarily a developer role responsible for creating, maintaining, deploying and managing customised reports for the Insurance Sector reporting requirements. It will involve the generation of all reports, templates, letters, forms, certificates, etc. from the system based on business stipulated requirements.Candidates will work collaboratively with Software Development Engineers, other IT staff and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support reports in a compliant, regulated environment. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Lead user requirements gathering and translate them into specifications for business intelligence solutions and workflows
• Work with other members of the team and business unit to translate the BU requirements into mock-ups and specification documents for report development
• Deliver high-quality and timely dashboards, documentation templates, letters, receipts, reports, visualizations, and self-service reporting capabilities using the identified language
• Create and execute stored procedures and queries for data from legacy, testing or staged databases and systems being implemented
• Design and develop formats for all documentation requirements output from queries run on the core system that fully meets business criteria and high-level of usability
• Research and implement standards to ensure data integrity, efficient coding, data validation, product testing, clear documentation, and maintenance practices
• Troubleshoot reporting issues; identify root cause and fixes
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive and user-friendly end user documentation as well as training where needed

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Certification in Information Systems or Computer Science EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of experience using the Microsoft SQL Server
• Highly proficient in developing complex reports, tables, query writing
• Ability to integrate data from multiple, disparate sources
• Experience with writing complex queries to build reports and dashboards
• Possess an outstanding ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to business and technology stakeholders
