To assist the team to deliver comprehensive, efficient and professional Administrative and HR services to the organisation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
HR SERVICES 
Execution of HR operational tasks relating to the different stages of the employment lifecycle (recruiting, onboarding, engagement, departure, exit interviews.). Assist with Interview packages and interview schedules for recruitment. Collaborate with HR team to execute employee onboarding process.  
BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION 
Assist with the coordination of the medical and annuity plans and other benefit plans ensuring employees have all the relevant information and are registered on the plans.  Also, with severance payments, Workmen’s Compensation claims, leave administration compilation of vacation leave accruals.
TRAINING and DEVELOPMENT
Training needs in collaboration with managers the development and facilitation of training initiatives. Liaise with external training agencies to coordinate training for employees. Coordination of developmental training for weekly paid workers.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS 
Employee-related programmes e.g. internship, apprenticeship, work experience.  Also assist IR team in resolving conflicts before they reach the stage of grievance procedure, handling attendance issues and disciplinary matters within the organisation, i.e. investigations, hearings, and issuing of warnings, suspensions etc.
Administration of Performance Management System within the Local Divisions
Performance Reviews and Feedback Cycles
Coordinating regular performance review cycles (quarterly, biannual, annual) across all divisions, ensuring consistency in evaluation criteria and standards. Support managers in conducting constructive performance conversations, providing tools and resources for effective feedback, and ensuring that all reviews are documented in the system and that feedback is provided in a timely manner to support employee growth and improvement.
HRIS Implementation and Maintenance
Assist in the setup and customization of the HRIS to meet organizational needs, ensuring accuracy, usability, and data security, collaborate with IT and external vendors to integrate the HRIS with other business systems and tools. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy, functionality, and compliance with legal and organizational standards. Assist with workforce data analysis, people metrics, and reports. Provides insights to support strategic HR decisions, including turnover, engagement, and performance tracking across plants and subsidiaries.
Employee Records Management
Maintaining up-to-date, accurate employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Implementing standardized procedures for onboarding and offboarding documentation, ensuring timely data entry and filing, with periodic audits of employee records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency within the HRIS.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION:
• Degree in Administration/HR or related discipline 
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• At least 3 years’ experience in an Administrative/HR environment,
• Have strong oral and written communication, 
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• High degree of proficiency with MS Office suite 
• A working understanding of HR practices
• Strong customer orientation, with a focus on delivery
• Attention to detail and accuracy 
• Able to multitask, work independently and manage competing priorities effectively 
• Able to produce high-quality work, including under pressure, while remaining calm, efficient and flexible
