Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Data entry and record keeping
• Accurately enter financial data into spreadsheets
• Maintain and organize financial records, including invoices, receipts and other documents.
• Input accounting information into our Peachtree System
• Handles all correspondence on a daily basis which incl udes recei ving and s u bm i tt ing to the Secretary. Drafting routine correspondence and exped ites urgent confidentia l, and important correspondence to appropriate personnel.
Transaction Processing
• Process invoices, receipts, payment and other financial transactions.
Clerical and Administrative Support:
• Answer phone and communicate with clients and members in dispatching jobs.
• Organize our· Membership files documents, both physically and electronically.
• Prepare reports and other docum'ents are needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a University Degree /Diploma or ACCA Level 1.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years working experience, having specialized knowledge and skills in an office or administrative role.
Skills:
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
