Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Insurance and Pension Revenue team in the capacity of:
Administrative Analyst
Provide administrative support and analytical assistance to the Insurance and Pension Revenue Department and directly support the Vice President – Insurance and Pension Revenue.
Data collection and analysis, reporting, research, process coordination and administrative activities.
Location: Kingston
As an Administrative Analyst, you will:
- Play a major role in the administrative activities of the Vice President of Insurance and Pension Revenue.
- Set appointments, manage calls, prepare correspondences for the Vice President of Insurance and Pension Revenue’s signature.
- Conduct data analysis for strategic projects and initiatives.
- Conduct data collection and analysis, KPI tracking, etc for strategic projects and initiatives.
- Produce ad hoc and recurring reports and presentations as needed.
- Assist with Project Coordination activities for strategic projects.
- Manage project timetables, coordinate meetings, tracking milestones/outcomes.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative support, analyst support, operations, or reporting role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and Microsoft PowerPoint/Word.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate data into practical, audience-appropriate summaries.
- Experience with supporting projects (status tracking, meeting facilitation).
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Excellent human relations skills.
- Ability to produce reports.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
