The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across multiple companies within the Group, ensuring compliance with internal controls and supporting efficient cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record supplier invoices across multiple group entities;
  • Perform invoice matching (invoice, purchase order, supporting documents) to ensure accuracy and proper authorization;
  • Verify allocation of expenses to the correct cost centres and entities;
  • Prepare weekly payment batches in line with internal procedures and approval protocols;
  • Reconcile supplier statements and proactively resolve discrepancies;
  • Maintain complete and organized supporting documentation and audit trails;
  • Liaise with internal teams (operations, procurement, project leads) to resolve invoice queries;
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and approval policies;
  • Monitor aging reports and escalate overdue or unusual items;
  • Assist with month-end close, including accruals and accounts payable reconciliations;
  • Attend to walk-in customers and facilitate distribution of payments where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 CXC passes, including Mathematics and English (Accounts an asset)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment is an asset

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $6,000 – $8,000
