We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to support our Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth processing of daily transactions.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all financial transactions and reporting activities. This role involves processing and reviewing invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payments in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

What you will do?

  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices, vouchers, and receipts.
  • Assist with reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial information as needed.
  • Perform other related duties to support the accounting function.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 3 CSEC subjects including Accounting and or Mathematics.
  • At least 6 months working experience
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
