Job Title: Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries for revenue, expenses, accruals, and estimates.
• Generate accurate monthly financial statements and support month/year-end closings in SAP.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper asset capitalization.
• Review and validate DD&A calculations in SAP.
• Reconcile key P&L and Balance Sheet accounts; clean up old GL balances.
• Prepare vendor/customer ageing schedules and bank reconciliations.
• Analyze intracompany costs and ensure accurate intercompany billing.
• Process payroll and employee expense claims.
• Support audit processes and assist in preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights and support.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.)
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficient in SAP FI-CO and FI-AA modules
• Knowledge of IFRS and PSC accounting in the oil & gas sector
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive problem-solver
