Accountant / Cost Accountant/ Production Finance Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our client’s dynamic team within a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and standard costing.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, track budget variances.
• Conduct cost analysis and margin analysis to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure accurate posting of journal entries and adherence to accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and complete submissions.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to understand cost drivers.
• Prepare reports on financial performance, KPIs, and variance analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

• ACCA qualification or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
• A minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
