Accountant - ANSA McAL Limited

ANSA McAL is seeking a highly experienced Accountant to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

At ANSA MCAL the Accountant is responsible for delivering  reports and summarizing financial information for leadership, maintaining the reporting standards in the organization and insuring accurate financial forecasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare the company’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements ensuring adherence to Group and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Prepare the monthly and quarterly financial packages in alignment with Group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare the Intercompany reconciliations and monthly uploads in alignment with Group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and coordinate the internal and external year end audit process.
• Prepare monthly financial transactions and maintain accurate documentation, accounting schedules and analysis.
• Prepare internal management reports and forecasts with recommendations.
• Prepare annual budgets and uploads into ERP and Group systems.
• Prepare all statutory Tax, V.A.T. returns and support schedules for internal and external compliance.
• Support the internal stakeholders with the retrieval of information as requested.
• Support in the review of accounts payables and receivables transactions as requested.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• ACCA qualification or holding a CIMA certification.
• A minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate-level skills in Excel and Word.
• Intermediate experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and intercompany reconciliation is an asset.
