The Western Regional Health Authority (a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Health and Wellness) is seeking to employ an Assistant Human Resource Officer (Training & PMAS) for TRELAWNY HEALTH SERVICES.

 

ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (Training and PMAS)

Salary Scale: $2,190,302.00 - $2,945,712.00 per annum

 

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Human Resource Management and Development, the Assistant Human Resource Officer is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Performance Management and Appraisal System (PMAS) as well as coordinating the Reward and Recognition Programmes. 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors and team members to develop Unit and Individual Work Plan.
  •  Ensure alignment with Operational Plan and other related plans as well as the objectives of the Unit and job.
  • Coordinate Interim and Final Performance Reviews ensuring supervisors and team members complete the required documents.
  • Maintain a Confidential Register of performance ratings and applicable awards/sanctions.
  • Conduct training needs analysis to facilitate the preparation of the entity’s long-term and short-term training plans.
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of training sessions/workshops.
  • Collate information received from post-training sessions/workshops evaluation/feedback surveys and submit to the Manager, Human Resource Management and Development.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality & reliability.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning/organizing skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of relevant software applications including Microsoft Office.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
  • Two (2) years experience in a similar capacity
