A1 Spray Painter/Body Shop Technician

Bermuda Motors Limited requires an experienced A1 Spray Painter/Body Shop Technician to work on the distributor brands we sell namely, KIA, Ford, Toyota, BMW and MINI.

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues
accurately using vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Training apprentices as required
• Return the vehicle back to factory specifications
• Remove vehicle trim to gain access to vehicle body and properly fill depressions with body filler
and insure a quality repair
• Be able to remove damaged parts using power tools and cutting torch
• Bolt/weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment
• Straighten bent automobile chassis using frame wrack (knowledge of Car-O-Liner would be a
plus)
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools and make cosmetic
repairs
• Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original
specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Be able to develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job
