Position Profile - Order Fulfillment Analyst
The Order Fulfillment Analyst is responsible for the management and execution of demand planning activities for the export and local subsidiary, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely reordering, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet customer requirements and operational efficiency.
Main Accountabilities
Demand Planning and Reordering
- Monitor subsidiary inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for stock replenishment based on sales trends, safety stock, and lead times.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to support accurate demand forecasting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with logistics, production, and warehouse teams to ensure containers are efficiently loaded and dispatched.
- Work closely with sales teams to address customer needs and substitute unavailable products with suitable alternatives.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to address supplier-related challenges
Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Analyse slow-moving or obsolete inventory and develop strategies to minimize write-offs.
- Review and update inventory replenishment parameters, including reorder points and safety stock levels.
Operational Coordination
- Ensure timely communication of stock availability and order status to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with container tracking and follow-up to prevent delays in delivery schedules.
- Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and recommend process improvements
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate and present regular demand planning reports, including stock coverage, forecast accuracy, and service levels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as required.
General requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Proficient in demand planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, etc.).
- Proven track record in managing inventory for multi-location operations.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
