HR Business Partner
The scucessful candidate will provide courteous and efficient service and support to team members while handling queries both in person and online in an accurate, professional, and timely manner. They will also provide senior support in all areas of HR, with a focus on Administration, Payroll, Employee Benefits, and Disciplinary matters. Familiarity with HR processes and workflow related to talent acquisition, employee development, and records management is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong administrative support with employee-related matters.
- Policy guidelines, strategy, and compliance with policies and Labour laws.
- Provide day-to-day advice and support to Managers and employees on general HR related queries.
- The Support and Management of Payroll data for both monthly and fortnightly payroll cycles in conjunction with the generation of Employee numbers for new users, payroll, etc.
- Management and monitoring of employee benefits, and in conjunction with the HRM, ensure full coverage and timely payments to facilitate ongoing coverage for all team members.
- Lead on disciplinary matters in conjunction with the HRM co-ordinate and Manage the preparation of the documents to facilitate the Disciplinary Hearing process in keeping with policy. Maintain and update a disciplinary case log.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with the preparation of offer letters, job letters, reference checks, acceptance of resignation letters, etc.
- Contribute to decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR Projects in support of the overall strategy.
- Assist with educating employees about Labour Laws, HR, Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assess the welfare needs of the team and recommend strategies to HRM.
- Monitor health and safety for all on the job incidents, liaise with the HRM to ensure forms are completed and submitted within the requisite time frame, and support documents to include pictures, statements, sick leave certificates, etc.
- Support Ad-hoc HR projects and staff engagement programs.
- Any other duties in keeping within scope and competence.
Requirements & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM/Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience is similar field.
- Excellent working knowledge of Labour Laws, HR principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle a busy workload.
- Proactive and ability to work on own initiative with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and resourcefully.
- Possess a high level of professionalism, integrity, and initiative.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, strong computer skills.
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of diplomacy, discretion ad confidentiality when handling sensitive information and dealing with team members.
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
