Research Director (Third Septennial Review)
The Research Director is responsible for leading and coordinating the execution of the University’s Third Septennial Review, ensuring the timely completion of the Institutional Self-Study, coordination of external assessors, and preparation of the final Septennial Review Report for consideration by the University Council. The role provides strategic research leadership, ensures compliance with adapted University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) accreditation standards, other regulatory expectations and supports evidence-based institutional improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration, Social Sciences, Organizational Research, or related field
- Proven experience leading complex institutional research or accreditation exercises
- Strong background in research design, data analysis, and report writing
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant progressive experience, preferably within a university or tertiary education environment, in areas such as research management, academic administration, grants coordination, institutional planning, or related functions.
