This role supports all brand and trade activities within the supermarket retail channels for international consumer products and grocery brands.
Maximising Sales & Profitability:
- Working with commercial sales staff on business strategies aimed at achieving sales and profitability goals for brands and channel accounts.
- Monitor competitor activity and support strategies to ensure competitiveness and research into best practices
- Support strategies and solutions to improve revenue and market share
- Increase distribution points (new customer and business development)
- Enhance brand visibility in the market, including premium positioning, compliance with supplier requirements and improved share of shelf on the supermarket retail channel.
Trade Marketing
- Management of all trade marketing plans, promotions, samplings marketing campaigns and events
- Audit merchandising performance to ensure compliance with brand positioning, share of shelf, product rotation, pricing, etc.
- Management of trade marketing activities such as planograms, supermarket rentals etc
- Management of advertising and promotions (A&P) budgets
- Conduct trade visits daily, weekly, or as required to supermarket retail accounts to build and maintain strong business relationship
