What You’ll Do:
✔ Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits inquiries
✔ Conduct benefits onboarding and open enrollment processes
✔ Liaise with insurance carriers, clients and internal teams to resolve issues
✔ Maintain accurate records in our software systems
✔ Ensure compliance with FSC and other regulations and organizational policies
✔ Maintain consistent communication with the Supervisor and Account Executives throughout the processing of client accounts
✔ Help evolve our benefits offerings with employee feedback and data

What You Bring:
🔹 2 years of experience in Benefits, or in a similar position (insurance
industry a plus)
🔹 5 CXC subjects at Levels 1, 2 or 3 inclusive of English Language (at levels 1 or 2) and Mathematics or another numerate subject (Accounts)
🔹 Completed or pursuing the relevant classes of insurance business in Employee Benefits for registration with the Financial Services Commission (Accident, Sickness & Health and Ordinary Long-Term Insurance)
🔹 Good understanding of Benefits programs - health, dental, optical, life, disability, etc
🔹 Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
🔹 Empathetic, detail-oriented, accuracy in work and compliance-aware
🔹 Good customer service skills
🔹 Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
🔹 Ability to use basic office systems
🔹 Basic understanding of Insurance Broking software (a plus)
