JOB TITLE: Micro Finance Sales Officer
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for promoting Bluestart Capital (JA) loan options to individuals and facilitating loan acquisition via sales and promotion initiatives. This includes proper assessment of the client needs, aid in disbursing funds, and set up of debt repayment plans, while delivering exceptional customer service in line with company policies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Analyse potential loan markets to find opportunities to promote loans and financial services.
- Develop/execute sales strategies to improve the loan portfolio.
- Promote various loan options to customers to consistently achieve sales targets and pivotal KPIs
- Counsel applicants on loan repayments policies and restrictions.
- Maintain and review account records, updating and categorizing them according to status changes.
- Ensure loan applications are complete and correct.
- Review accuracies and set up repayment plans.
- Oversee the updating of DA/incomplete screen daily to ensure all accounts are actioned within company’s guideline.
- Assist with the accounts in the referral screen.
- Make Credit decisions within assigned authority.
- Go over negative credit histories and recommend solutions to improve financial situations.
- Work with consumers who are behind on their payments for current loans and help them avoid defaulting on the loans.
- Act as a liaison between the consumer and Unicomer.
- Maintain a proper filing system.
- Relieve/assist with cashing as required.
- Any other duties deemed necessary for the smooth flow of the Cash Loan unit.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary level education, preferably a degree or associate degree in business or finance.
- 2 - 3 Years’ experience in a similar position with an emphasis on an emphasis on new client acquisition and client retention
- Previous experience in sales.
- Competence in using Microsoft Excel
