QUALITY COORDINATOR – KINGSTON
A reputable organization is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join its team in the capacity of Quality Coordinator at its Kingston office.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to ensure compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and applicable local and international regulations.
- Conduct daily quality assurance checks on production, storage, and sanitation processes to ensure procedures are followed and accurately documented.
- Investigate and document non-conformances and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to promptly address and resolve quality and safety concerns.
- Maintain proper custody and control of quality documentation, including manuals, records, reports, and inspection checklists.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits conducted by clients, quality assurance agencies, and regulatory authorities.
- Organize and manage annual food handler’s permit renewals in collaboration with public health authorities.
Academic & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Food Science & Technology or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a food production environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
