Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard
Location: Barbados
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary Range: BB$3,000.00 - BB$3,200.00

Overview
The Client is seeking a professional and highly responsible Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety, security, and orderly operation of its office premises. This role requires a courteous, vigilant, and service-oriented individual capable of maintaining a secure environment while upholding high standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control & Visitor Management

• Control and monitor access to premises, admitting only authorized personnel and visitors
• Verify identification and purpose of visit before granting entry
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, including visitor details and entry/exit times
• Record all authorized and unauthorized access attempts

Security Presence & Surveillance

• Maintain a visible and continuous security presence
• Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas
• Monitor security equipment where applicable
• Identify and report any suspicious activities

Incident & Threat Reporting

• Maintain a detailed security logbook
• Prepare and submit incident reports as required
• Immediately escalate urgent threats or concerns

Visitor Interaction (Security Scope Only)

• Professionally greet and direct visitors within security protocols
• Provide clear guidance related to access procedures only
• (Note: This role does not include administrative or clerical duties)

Compliance & Confidentiality

• Adhere strictly to all security procedures and confidentiality standards
• Operate in accordance with established protocols and professional conduct expectations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security guard, preferably in corporate, institutional, or similar environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability
• Ability to remain calm and alert in both routine and high-pressure situations
• Basic knowledge of access control, visitor management, and incident reporting
• Must possess all certifications required in Barbados for security services
• Must be properly uniformed and accredited under applicable local regulations

Role Limitations

• This is a strictly security-focused role; no administrative or operational duties are permitted
• No access to internal systems or confidential data beyond security scope
• This is a non-armed position; use or carrying of firearms or weapons is not permitted
