Key Duties & Responsibilities – Cooks
Prepare, season, and cook meals according to recipes, client specifications, and hygiene standards
Ensure correct portioning and presentation of meals
Monitor and record food temperatures, ensuring safety and compliance
Oversee preparation of raw/cooked food components and ensure timely completion
Support menu planning and contribute to kitchen efficiency improvements
Minimise waste through proper preparation, storage, and handling
Maintain sanitation and hygiene practices throughout food prep and cooking
Qualifications & Skills
CXC O’Level Certificate with Grades I or II in English Language and Mathematics
Minimum of one (2) year experience in a team-based environment
At least three (3) years experience in a food service or catering environment
Certification in food preparation
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Police Certificate of Character required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work shift
