Expected Duties:

• Ensure on-time opening of station/wicket.
• Balance currency, coin, and cheques in cash drawers at end of day.
• Receive all currency cash for exchange, verify amounts, and check for authenticity.
• Examine MoneyGram receive forms, verify information such as names of receiver & sender, addresses and identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the identification tendered.
• Enter customers' transactions into Customer Management System in order to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
• Count all currency, coins, and cheques received, by hand or using currency-counting machine, in order to prepare them for deposit or shipment to other branches or banks.
• Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance.
• Explain, promote, or sell all services such as Mobile top-up, MoneyGram RIA IDT etc., Cambio, DHL (Paymaster Q & EZ Bill Payment & Coffee Traders where applicable) and any other value-added service.
• Perform clerical tasks to include filing. 
• Monitor cash float to ensure cash balances are correct at the end of the day.
• Inform customers about Bank of Jamaica regulations.
• Quote exchange rates as per computer (MoneyGram & Cambio).
• Monitor all floor operations to ensure customer experience is excellent.
• Ensure prompt response in service delivery.
• Handle customer grievances in a timely manner.
• Ensure conformity to customer service programme.

Candidates are reminded that this is a full-time position and it is led by a 40-hour week. Candidates are expected to have years of experience with proof highlighted on their resumes (1-2 years experience in cash management/handling).
