JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Dominica
SALARY: XCD 5,000.00 - 8,000.00
We are is seeking to recruit a driven, dynamic, responsible, team-oriented, and highly confidential individual to lead our marketing department across our diversified operations. This role is critical in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across our various divisions.
JOB SUMMARY/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business objectives and enhance our marketing position
- Requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills and the ability to manage both internal teams and external partners effectively.
- Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products, and customer needs and insights.
- Create the overall sales strategy and execution of plans for the existing products.
- Work with product development teams and Buyers to manage new product sales.
- Provide and present monthly reports outlining targets achieved, financial performance, contribution and effectiveness of brand/department campaigns and marketing department as a whole.
- Ensure effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, social media, print communication, and advertising.
- Manage sales staff and external PR agencies.
- Provide analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
- Conduct assessment of the effectiveness of all sales efforts
- Train, supervise and evaluate all staff in the marketing department
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales or related field
- At least five [5] years’ management experience preferably a retail/sales environment.
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership
- Must be reliable and responsible; and must have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Research and evaluate new product opportunities and market demand.
- Work with supply chain team to manage new product launches
- Create overall sales strategies and execution plans for existing products
- Conduct assessments of sales effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
- Create and present monthly reports on targets achieved, financial performance and campaign effectiveness.
- Current on industry standards and best practices
- Transformative leadership approach that inspires and empowers team members and colleagues
- Aware of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
- Ability to prioritize high-value tasks and focus under pressure
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Able to be persuasive and procure buy-in from upper management

- Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity
- Proficient in software applications including Business Central and MS Office Suite, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Excellent record-keeping (computerized)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness/ability to work overtime and weekends.
