Job Summary
To provide innovative, cost effective, fit for purpose solutions in a safe, timely and professional manner, establish and recommend product innovations, improvement, market penetration and growth, to meet demand and ensure competitiveness
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure department objectives are achieve
- Conduct market research to develop sales leads
- Establish and maintain a sales pipeline for all potential and ongoing opportunities
- Develop technical and commercial proposals and tenders
- Ensure sales targets are met/surpassed monthly
- Conduct and evalute customer research, market conditions, competitor data
- Assist in building the product portfolio for Integrated Solutions products/services
- Develop forecasts for annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
- Assist in developing and implementing a marketing plan for the department
- Provide quarterly reports on demand and production, ensuring customer demand are met and assessing room for improvement
- Provide technical assistance/advice to Integrated Solutions team
- Oversee technical aspects of tenders and proposals
- Build relationships with existing and new customerr
- Visit jobs sites and develop relationships with contractors and project managers as required
- Negotiate with foreign suppliers and local contractors on best prices for tendered jobs and ongoing projects
- Provide technical options for cost effective solutions aligned to customer and company needs
- Establish, implement, monitor and document safety and quality standards for all jobs as required
- Conduct research on equipment relating to quotation/tender specification
- Resolves customer complaints/issues successfully
- Maintain physical and digital files to keep records organized, sytematized and transparent
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as and when necessary to build and nurture relationships
- Partner with the inventory team on the cycle count exercise to validate that inventory on hand matches the inventory recorded in the system
- Comply with policies, procedures, and standards to create an environment that is beneficial for all stakeholders
- Perform any related duties as assigned by the department manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- 1 year supervisory experience
- 2 years experience working in the manufacturing industry
