Job Summary - Seeking a motivated and analytical individual to support the rollout and ongoing optimization of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system and Training Initiatives. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong systems, and HR experience, who is also skilled in training coordination and other employee services initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and external partners to ensure accurate data management, effective system adoption, and alignment with core HR and Industrial Relations (IR) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Implementation & HRIS Support
- Assist with the end-to-end implementation, testing, and stabilization of Workday HCM.
- Support data migration, validation, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure system integrity across HR processes.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and external partners to ensure smooth system operations.
HR Operations & Core HR Support
- Provide operational support across core HR functions, including employee data updates and compliance.
- Support Industrial Relations activities by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analyses using Excel and Workday reporting tools.
- Develop presentations, summaries, and updates using PowerPoint.
Training & Change Management Support
- Coordinate and support HR and Workday-related training initiatives for employees and managers.
- Assist in creating training materials, guides, and documentation for system processes.
- Support end-user adoption by providing guidance, answering queries, and tracking training completion.
- Assist HR in change management initiatives related to Workday or other HR programs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR coordination, HRIS, systems, or analytical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Exposure to Workday HCM or another HRIS platform (implementation or operational support preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including data analysis and reporting).
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
- Working knowledge of core HR functions and basic Industrial Relations (IR) principles.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
