The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) invites suitably qualified internal candidates to apply for the position of Enterprise Risk Management Analyst.
Job Purpose
The Enterprise Risk Management Analyst is responsible for providing enterprise-wide leadership in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of JSIF’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework. The role ensures effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of organizational risks, while strengthening governance, compliance, business continuity, and risk-informed decision-making across the Fund.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, policies, and risk registers.
- Lead enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation activities.
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, heat maps, and presentations for Management, Board, auditors, and regulators.
- Monitor risk action plans, internal controls, and compliance with approved risk appetite thresholds.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and awareness initiatives.
- Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and control effectiveness reviews.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and sensitization sessions on ERM principles and best practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, MDAs, auditors, donors, and other stakeholders on risk-related matters.
- Integrate risk management into strategic planning, operational planning, and decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and auditable records of risk management activities and incident reporting.
Qualification & Experience
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, Management Studies, Public Administration or related field
- Specialized training in Risk Management
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Risk Management
