Gym Manager – Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and results-driven Gym Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high standard of customer service, staff performance, cleanliness, and overall member satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for fitness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily facility operations
• Supervise front desk staff, trainers, maintenance, and support personnel
• Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction at all times
• Handle member inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, and overall productivity
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
• Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, safe, and fully operational
• Monitor memberships, sales performance, and member retention efforts
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and community engagement activities
• Manage schedules and coordinate staff shifts effectively
• Maintain inventory levels and report supply or maintenance needs
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to management
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
• Any other duties as requested by management

Work Schedule
