Core Responsibilities

• Develop innovative trade marketing plans and implement strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
• Analyse sales performance for key accounts against target and prior year results on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Undertake administrative tasks related to the Merchandising Team.
• Work closely with the brand marketing team to commercialize brand plans.
• Improve brand presence and campaign execution across the trade through excellence in store-planning, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing plan to improve visibility and sales.
• Develop Merchandising Excellence in key accounts via enforcement of planograms, POS communications, price communication and maintain/increase share of shelf.
• Lead design of promotional and POS materials, including the identification and acquisition of the appropriate display equipment for the various activities.
• Develop, coach and support Merchandising Supervisors to sustainably drive business results.
• Responsible for reporting on trade activation performance.

Desirable Competence

• Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Trade Marketing strategies.
• Product development.
• Merchandising, FMCG and Events Management experience.
• Market research and analysis.
• Three years’ experience.
• Critical thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Customer relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with numerical data.
• Planning, organizing, coordinating skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
