Responsibilities and Duties
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing orders.
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
- Coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availability and requirements
- Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Responding to customer queries in a timely manner when required.
- Communicate with distributors, retailers etc. to achieve mutual satisfaction
- Monitors activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to ensure established deadlines are met.
- Prepare accurate reports as requested by management.
- Performs any other related duties assigned.
Education/Training & Experience
- Associate degree in business administration, logistics & supply chain management or related field.
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems would be an asset.
