TRADE MARKETING ASSISTANT
The Trade Marketing Assistant at Select Brands Limited provides hands-on administrative and operational support to the Trade Marketing team to ensure effective execution of in‑store promotions, merchandising activities, and brand standards across assigned trade channels. This role supports the Trade Marketing Supervisors and wider Marketing and Trade Marketing teams through coordination of Point of Sale (POS) materials, data collection, reporting, store audits, and day-to-day trade marketing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in marketing, trade marketing, merchandising, sales support, or a related role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in the Wines & Spirits industry would be an asset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trade Marketing Support & Execution:
Coordinate and distribute POS materials and assist with in‑store promotions, product launches, merchandising activities, and store audits to ensure brand standards and pricing accuracy.
Conduct trade checks, capture store‑level data and photos, and compile observations and reports to monitor execution and performance in retail outlets.
- Administration & Coordination:
- Maintain accurate records of POS inventory, dispatches, and returns.
- Assist with the preparation and consolidation of trade marketing reports, surveys, and promotional feedback.
- Merchandising & Field Support:
- Assist with monitoring product availability, shelf placement, and stock rotation in on‑ and off‑premise outlets.
- Support the management of product expiry checks, returns, discounts, or rebranding initiatives as directed.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Liaise with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of trade activities.
- Assist with competitor activity monitoring and basic market intelligence gathering.
