Teacher Aide (EIGS/AS2)

Annual Salary: $1,711,060

Key Responsibilities:

· Support teachers in meeting students’ educational and developmental needs

· Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

· Assist with behaviour management and life skills development

· Help maintain a safe, clean and structured classroom environment

· Provide supervision and assist with personal care needs

Qualifications & Experience:

· Level 2 NVQJ/HEART Certification (Early Childhood/Special Needs)

· Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education an asset

· Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Valid Food Handler’s Permit and current Police Record
