The IT Manager is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and maintenance of the resort's information technology systems and networks. This includes ensuring all hotel operations—from guest services and property management systems to back-of-house operations—run efficiently and securely. You will lead the IT department, manage vital systems, and champion technological innovation to enhance both the guest and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities (Anticipated):
- Oversee the daily operations of all computer systems, network infrastructure, and telecommunications equipment.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the hotel’s data, including compliance with data protection policies.
- Manage IT-related projects, including system upgrades and new technology implementation.
- Provide high-level technical support and leadership to the IT team.
- Collaborate with department heads (including the current IT Manager, Emmanuel Nweke) to address their operational technology needs.
Required Qualifications (General):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven expertise in network administration, hardware management, and software support for a large-scale enterprise.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
