Our client located in Point Lisas is seeking to fill the position of an ACCOUNTS CLERK.
MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM
Salary: ACCOUNTS CLERK- $5,000.00
Job Purpose
- Performs various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting system output, processing credit notes, and/or assisting in the preparation of billings and other financial reports. Assists in the performance of various clerical duties.
- Complies with the Company’s Food Safety policies and guidelines as well as all Health Safety and Environmental regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing of Credit Notes inclusive of queries
- Checking and verifying credits for customers
- Assist on the PBX (Lunch time or when required)
- Processing of credit memos and debit memos
- Processing of truck driver charges for deductions to be made on a monthly basis
- Customer account reconciliations
- Verification of customer balances on Odoo
- Adequate and efficient filing of documents
- Emailing of credits to customers
- Assisting the sales team with customer queries
- Liaising with dispatchers on returns
- Attaching of invoices to support the prices on credit notes
- Generation of credit note report
- Assisting the Accountant with reports
- Assisting with writing up of receipts for customers
- Any other reports requested by Management
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum ACCA Level 1 or equivalent
- Experience in accounting practices
- Experience in a computerized accounting environment would be an asset

- Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
