A company within the Retail and Distribution Industry is inviting applications from suitably qualified and customer-focused individuals for the position of Sales Support and Customer Care Specialist.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales operations, delivering excellent customer service, and providing administrative coordination within a fast-paced business environment. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, technically inclined, and capable of leading and motivating a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone customers
- Assist customers in identifying suitable products and services based on their needs
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders accurately
- Follow up on customer inquiries and quotations to support sales conversion
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery
- Address customer complaints and service-related concerns professionally
- Lead and support team members to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or administration, preferably within a technical, retail, industrial, or distribution environment
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including measurements and pricing calculations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ACCPAC or QuickBooks would be an asset
- Passes in Mathematics and English A
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
