Ocean Interiors is seeking a Site Foreperson/Project Manager and skilled Drywall/ Framers.
Candidates for the Site Foreperson/Project Manager must be highly proficient in all areas of construction and masonry for both commercial and residential projects. Applicants must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, knowledge of all tools, techniques and materials used in the trade. Must be able to produce high quality work, including setting out, plastering, concrete placement, slating and formwork. Must have at least 7 years of experience in all aspects of masonry and site management. The Forepersons role is to manage client expectations and service standards, meet strict deadlines and ensure that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget. Must be efficient with the managing of equipment and materials, manage, coordinate and monitor all staff to ensure a strong work ethic and professional demeanor while dealing with co-workers and clients.
Candidates for the Drywall / Framer must have a minimum of 5 years' experience reading blueprints, measuring, cutting and framing materials including wood and metal stud. Installing of structural framework for walls and ceilings and preparing the structure for drywall installation is a must. Ability to use all tools associated with drywall installation including nailguns and saws needed to assemble the framework. Confidence when ensuring the framework is plumb and level is a must. Key responsibilities also involve adhering to safety standards, maintaining a clean work area, and coordinating with other construction professionals on site. Must be able to work extended hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
