JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Provides the necessary technical oversight to Oil & Gas Operations. Develop and implement operational systems and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
b) Oversee the day-to-day management of operational systems, including designated Oil & Gas tools and equipment. This involves regular inspections, calibration, preventative maintenance and monitoring for performance and errors.
c) Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the Oil & Gas industry, including upstream companies such as Woodside, BPTT, Shell, EOG Resources and Perenco, service companies including Massy Wood Group, Baker Hughes, SLB and Halliburton, Stenna Drilling, MODEC, SBM Offshore as well as midstream and downstream companies including ALNG, Proman and other industrial companies in the Point Lisas estate.
d) Engage in regular meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
e) Proactively identify and generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging industry contacts.
f) Work with cross-functional teams (such as T&C, service, projects, and QHSE) to streamline operations and implement new processes, providing technical support where necessary.
g) Supports the development of technical proposals by preparing detailed quotations, scope of work, and commercial inputs, ensuring all Rosco Procom submissions comply with required engineering standards and project specifications.
h) Engage with customers throughout operations to validate technical specifications, ensure alignments on scope, and confirm successful completion. Conducts on-site assessments as needed to capture operational requirements and deliver technically sound, fit-for-purpose solutions.
i) Identify and escalate all HSE non-conformances, near misses, incidents, and recordable injuries in accordance with established reporting protocols, ensuring timely notification to the Head of O&G Operations, QHSE Department, and HR as required by company and regulatory standards.
j) Conduct routine HSE and operational inspections within assigned areas to identify substandard conditions, unsafe practices, and potential integrity risks, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
k) Actively participate in and facilitate weekly safety meetings, contributing to the promotion of a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in operational risk management.
l) Document, track, and report all Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), ensuring timely closure and alignment with QHSE management system requirements.
m) Provide technical and operational oversight for all Wellhead project activities, supporting the Wellhead Team and Head of O&G Operations to ensure full QA/QC compliance during supplier/manufacturer equipment loadouts, including Wellheads, Xmas Trees, and Hanger running tool assemblies. Review and validate all associated technical drawings, equipment certifications, and operational procedures.
n) Review all Wellhead and Xmas Tree running procedures and engineering drawings, providing technical support to the Senior Wellhead Supervisor and team during preparation of final client-approved SOPs, Drilling Programs, and Well Data Packs.
o) Provide technical input with the design and application of our composite wrap products. Focus on customer oversight and provide operational guidance to the installation team.
p) Provide technical and operational support to the Project Engineer for the specification, design review, procurement, and deployment of chokes and supplier-provided valve systems, ensuring conformity with project requirements and service conditions.
q) Deliver technical support and QA/QC verification for datasheets and specifications for centralizers, float equipment (collars/shoes), and reamer shoes. Provide oversight for supplier modelling software.
r) Provide technical support and QA/QC oversight for the review of engineering drawings, operational procedures, scopes of work, and client programs related to running Liner Hangers, Packers, Bridge Plugs, Retainers, and associated completion equipment supplied by Rosco Procom Limited.
s) Assist the Head of O&G Division with developing and executing strategies that increase market shares, enhance client relationships, and support the overall growth and profitability of the business
t) Ensure adherence to applicable API standards and recommended practices for all Rosco Procom Limited supplier products, including but not limited to:
- API RP 10F (2002): cementing float equipment, API Spec 10D (2021): casing bow-spring, API Spec 5CT (10th Ed., 2018): casing, tubing meet material specifications, and PSL-1/PSL-2/PSL-3 criteria.
- 2. API RP 5A5: Oversee compliance with recommended practices for field inspection, testing, and verification of OCTG, ensuring alignment with API 5CT, ISO 11960, API 5B, and API Q1 requirements.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline (required).
EXPERIENCE
5–8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas operations, preferably within upstream drilling, completions, well services, or wellhead/OCTG environments

a) Strong analytical skills to interpret engineering drawings, performance data, and technical specifications.
b) Excellent communication and relationship-building skills within the Oil & Gas sector.
c) Ability to manage multiple operational priorities and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions in fast-paced environments.
d) Proficiency in technical reporting, documentation, and QA/QC record management.
