Automotive Technician/Mechanic
As the Automotive Technician/Mechanic you will assist in completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, replacing filters. You will be required to conduct inspections and diagnostics, repair engine failures, repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, replace parts and components. You will also need to verify vehicle serviceability and maintain vehicle service and repair records.
Applicants should have:
- HEART/NSTA Trust certification in Automotive Repairs, Motor Vehicle Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic, servicing, and repair skills
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance and vehicle safety standards
- A valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and respond to urgent operational needs
