Position Summary
The Business Analyst plays a key role in improving business operations by driving process enhancements, strengthening analytical capabilities, and enabling better decision-making through data and technology. This role serves as the bridge between business units and Technology, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, translated into solutions, and delivered through structured, high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, use cases, and process maps (current and future state)
- Lead business process improvement and re-engineering initiatives
- Identify inefficiencies, root causes, and recommend practical solutions
- Co-develop business cases with Finance and business units
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and investment evaluations
- Prepare decision-ready reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Define acceptance criteria and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support system rollouts, training, and user adoption
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in business analysis or process improvement
- Experience working on technology-enabled projects
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of financial modelling (ROI, payback, NPV/IRR) is an asset
