SALES MANAGER
Sales Manager – Automotive
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales operations and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, overseeing sales performance, submitting regular reports to management, educating customers on product features and benefits, and resolving customer concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and represent the Hyundai brand in Jamaica with enthusiasm, expertise, and comprehensive product knowledge.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Team, including training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring Client Advisors.
- Ensure the achievement of monthly targets for customer prospecting and test drives; prepare and submit daily scorecard reports.
- Analyze showroom traffic and daily visit reports to track performance and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting the team in closing sales.
- Ensure adherence to Hyundai’s standardized sales processes to maximize sales performance and service quality.
- Maintain high presentation standards across the showroom, offices, and vehicle displays.
- Deliver ongoing training to Client Advisors in product knowledge and sales techniques in alignment with the annual training program.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for sales staff.
- Monitor Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) results and implement action plans to improve performance.
Competencies and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ proven sales experience within the automotive industry.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a sales management role.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., CDK platform).
- Valid driver’s licence (minimum of two [2] years).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
