KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates and monitors the membership counter and sales personnel daily activities and the processing of new memberships and renewals.
- Supervise the refund process is followed according to company’s policies and procedures, as well as, reconcile till with refunded merchandise during each shift.
- Verify that all members’ sales information is entered correctly on the AS400 by the membership personnel by daily auditing of applications against the system.
- Oversees offering of our Cobranded Credit Card and increase in the amount of dual credit cardholders in the country according to the established goals.
- Supports new promotions or activities in the club.
- AS A MANAGER/SUPERVISOR AND EMPLOYEE OF PRICESMART, THE INCUMBENT OF THIS POSITION HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO:

REQUIREMENTS:
(Minimum required education and/or formal training, knowledge, skills, experience)
• Minimum two (2) years of university-based studies in Marketing, Business Administration or similar areas. Degree preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate teamwork and provide leadership.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and AS400.
• Proficient in English and/or Spanish languages (verbal and written).
OTHER TASKS:
• Analyzes work methods and distribution to eliminate idle time and maximize employee’s productivity and ensure appropriate levels of staffing.
• Ensures compliance with procedures in the opening and closing of the Club in accordance to checklist
• Generates and reviews reports as required for the department.
• Performs Manager on Duty functions as required.
• Plans, Supervisors and inputs into the system employee schedules and changes necessary.
• Monitors employees’ performance, and reviews training needs as required.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining department supplies.
• Responsible for the efficient administration of department budget.
• Revises the “Daily Transaction Report” and the “Inactive Shopping Report” on a daily basis.
• Monitors refunds and repair and ensures that all replaced and refunded merchandise is released accurately, based upon the Transaction Receipt which should be within the 30-day Refund Policy.
• Support the Membership Manager in managing the automatic charges to credit cards.
• Ensures Membership Policies & Procedures are applied accordingly.
• Supports the daily remittance of the Sales Team and follows up on Target Go
