MAYBERRY INVESTMENTS LIMITED “Transforming lives positively through lasting relationships” Product/Portfolio Manager Position Summary: The Product/Portfolio Manager is a commercially driven role responsible for owning the full lifecycle of investment products and managed portfolios, from design and launch to performance optimization and rationalization. The role focuses on driving AUM growth, increasing fee yield, and delivering differentiated, market-leading solutions, while partnering closely with Sales and Relationship Management teams to enhance client acquisition, retention, and overall product performance. Key Responsibilities: - Commercial Ownership & Revenue Accountability: Own and drive product-level revenue, AUM growth, fee yield, and overall profitability in line with divisional targets.
- Product Management & Innovation: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, developing and launching differentiated investment solutions that meet market needs and enhance competitiveness.
- Sales & Distribution Partnership: Act as a commercial partner to Sales and Relationship Management teams to drive client acquisition, retention, and product penetration.
- Portfolio Management & Oversight: Oversee portfolio construction, performance, risk management, and liquidity to ensure alignment with mandates and client objectives.
- Investment & Market Analysis: Conduct research and market analysis to inform portfolio positioning, product development, and strategic investment decisions.
- Digital, Data & Client Experience: Leverage data, technology, and digital platforms to enhance product delivery, reporting, and overall client experience.
- Risk, Governance & Compliance: Ensure all products and portfolios operate within regulatory requirements, risk parameters, and governance standards.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Competencies: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred or in progress).
- Strong experience in asset management, portfolio management, or investment product management within a regulated environment.
- Proven track record of driving AUM growth, net asset flows, and product profitability.
- Experience designing and launching investment products and supporting distribution strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen and product leadership capability.
- Sound investment judgment with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Effective collaboration with Sales and stakeholder teams.
- High level of digital fluency and familiarity with data and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
