A well-established company operating in a manufacturing and project-based environment is seeking a strategic and results-driven Financial Controller to lead its Finance function.

About the Role
The Financial Controller will lead and manage all accounting and financial operations across the organization, ensuring effective financial systems and controls are in place. The role involves providing strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making, while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial control processes. The Financial Controller will also ensure the accuracy of financial information, maintain compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and safeguard the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, cost management, and revenue tracking
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with accepted accounting standards
- Manage financial performance across multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and financial planning models
- Monitor receivables, cash balances, and overall financial position of the organization
- Review and approve payments and financial transactions within established limits
- Lead the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors
- Strengthen financial systems, internal controls, and operational processes
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Finance team, including performance management and development
- Present financial reports and insights to senior management and Board-level stakeholders
- Support strategic initiatives, financial negotiations, and risk management activities
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on all financial and operational performance indicators
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial accounting, with at least 2 years at a management level
- Experience in a manufacturing, project-based, or fast-paced business environment is an asset
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and reporting frameworks
