Our client in the San Fernando area is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join their team on a contract basis.

Work Scheduled :Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operational support to the HR department, contributing to the smooth execution of daily HR functions and an efficient, well-structured workplace environment.
The role involves supporting recruitment activities, maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and labour regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with applicants
- Maintain and update employee records while supporting onboarding processes for new hires
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparation of reports, documentation, and correspondence
- Assist in organizing training sessions and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure HR procedures comply with applicable labour laws and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification is an asset
- Previous experience in an HR assistant or similar administrative role
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
