ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (Six (6) month contract)
Industry/Sector: Transportation & Logistics
Location: Chaguanas
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing ACCA Level 1 or 2 or an equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software is an asset
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting entries and financial statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and analyse financial reports
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Support audit preparation and respond to audit queries
- Manage petty cash transactions
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
