MIXER / JR. OPERATOR

Cone Factory

Main Functions:

The Mixer/Jr. Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining cone mixing equipment to create the batter used in the cone manufacturing process. They ensure consistent quality and follow safety protocols to ensure mixes are hygienically processed.

Reports to: Supervisor

Job Functions:

• Ensure that sufficient and correct ingredients are available for the making of the mix
  • Operate mixing and blending machines
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Asist with any other duties from time to time

• Weigh and prepare ingredients in accordance with production guidelines

• Clean and sanitize equipment, containers, utensils, and workspace to maintain hygienic standards
• Organize and maintain the Storeroom and Batter Room
• Unload and pack delivery items to Storeroom
• Assist with machine operations when necessary

Working Conditions:

• Required to work in a factory environment with constantly running machines
• Required to work in a factory environment with constant high temperature
• May spend most of the working day standing and frequently walking
• Required to do lifting and pushing throughout the day

Qualifications/Competence and Experiences:

• 1 years’ working experience within a production plant in the food industry
• High School Diploma with CXC passes in Mathematics and English
• NTEI/HEART Certification would be an asset
  • Familiarity with various mixing and blending machines

• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong assessment and planning capabilities
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Must be customer oriented, reliable, flexible, and observant
